Terms and ConditionsPricing and QuotationsAll prices are FOB factory, shipping charges are additional. Freight quotes will be provided at the time of quotation. All quotations from Palliser® Contract™ are valid for 60 days from date of issue, unless otherwise stated on the quotation.Terms and Credit RequirementsApplication for Credit:For first time orders, a completed credit application must be received and processed by Palliser Contract prior to any order entry. Palliser Contract reserves the right to conduct a complete credit analysis of the customer to determine the amount of credit that may be extended. Should the customer not meet our credit requirements, we will require payment in full of the invoice prior to shipment. Palliser Contract in its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject credit applications and to determine appropriate credit limits. Terms: A fifty percent deposit is required for: The balance is due and payable net 30 days from date of invoice. If the balance due on the invoice after receipt of the fifty per cent deposit still exceeds the established credit limit, the portion of that balance exceeding the credit limit must be remitted prior to shipping. Palliser Contract reserves the right to place all orders on shipping hold if the account is in a past due status. All overdue accounts will be subject to a finance charge of 1.5 per cent per month on the unpaid balance. If 9 months or more have elapsed since the customer last placed an order, Palliser reserves the right to review credit status and may request a new credit application if necessary. Orders, Changes and CancellationsAll orders should be sent via e-mail or fax to:Palliser Contract e-mail: sales@pallisercontract.ca Fax: 1-866-370-7592 Phone: 1-866-444-0777 Your order will be directed to the appropriate project coordinator. Orders are binding once Palliser accepts a purchase order. Should order changes be required they must be submitted to Palliser in writing and are subject to the ability of Palliser Contract to accept. All changes will be confirmed in writing by Palliser Contract. Palliser reserves the right to re-quote based on the requested changes. Palliser Contract will not accept changes once the order(s) has been scheduled for production. Orders cannot be cancelled without the written authorization from Palliser Contract. Cancelled orders may be subject to a cancellation charge. Custom orders are not cancellable. Incorrect pricing on a purchase order will result in a delay in order processing. A revised purchase order will be required. Shipping, Freight Charges and Packaging, and ClaimsAll products are quoted FOB factory. Shipping instructions must be clearly indicated on the purchase order submitted to Palliser Contract. We reserve the right to ship common carrier for less than full truck load orders. Where possible, Palliser Contract will make every attempt to deliver via truckload. We will make every attempt to meet delivery dates, but cannot guarantee exact dates and times.Estimated freight quotes will be attached to all quotations and are valid for 60 days from date of issue. All fuel surcharges are in addition to the quoted freight rate and are invoiced based on current rate at time of shipment. Prices include Palliser Contract standard packaging. Where cartoning is not standard, it is available as an up charge. Cartoning quotations will be supplied based on individual order requirements. Many styles will be packaged with the legs removed and will require minor assembly on site. These styles will be identified in the Palliser Contract price list. Should storage be required, charges for storage will be assessed on all items not accepted for delivery within one week (7 days) from the scheduled delivery date. It is the responsibility of the customer to check all items upon receipt of shipment for concealed damage and loss. All freight claims for damage must be filed by the consignee with the transport company within 7 calendar days of receipt of the delivery. Failure to make a claim within 7 calendar days will constitute acceptance of the merchandise and will be deemed as a waiver of any defect, errors or shortages ascertainable upon inspection. Any shortages or damages must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of signing. ReturnsWritten authorization from Palliser Contract management is required for any and all returns. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at their own expense. An approved return authorization form must be included with all products. Contact your assigned Project Coordinator for all requests.Customer's Own Material (COM)All COM orders must be submitted with a completed COM Order form. Please allow 30 days for fabric classification prior to shipping fabric to Palliser. Fabric cannot be shipped to Palliser prior to receipt of tariff code and proper classification for orders to be produced in Mexico.A minimum 1/2 yard cut or minimum 3 memo samples of all COM fabric must accompany every COM order prior to scheduling. ORDERS WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED OR PROCESSED WITHOUT RECEIPT OF ALL REQUIRED FORMS AND FABRIC SAMPLES. Palliser Contract reserves the right to revise yardage quotations upon the receipt and inspection of the fabric goods received. There will be a 10% net up charge per item for those orders requiring more than one fabric applied on the same item. There will be a 10% net up charge for handling those COM fabrics other than 54" wide goods, or those COM fabrics requiring special tailoring or matching. The customer is responsible for any additional duties, tariffs or additional charges incurred with COM fabrics. Palliser accepts no responsibility for defects, color variations, flaws, or yardage shortages for COM fabrics. Palliser Contract will accept no responsibility for wear ability issues for COM fabrics. We also reserve the right to refuse to process a COM order without responsibility because of pattern, weight, stretch, width etc. Palliser Contract accepts no responsibility for flame retardancy of COM fabrics. All COM fabrics must have appropriate fabric backing. Palliser Contract requires 30 days lead time from receipt of COM fabrics. Lead times for custom orders will be quoted on an individual basis. Flame RetardancyMaterials used by Palliser Contract meet California Technical Bulletin 117. For those installations where more stringent fire codes are required, Palliser Contract will quote on an individual basis.WarrantyPalliser Contract products are warranted for three years to be free of from manufacturing and parts defects from date of purchase. Fabrics supplied by Palliser Contract offer the manufacturer's specified warranty; COM fabrics are not warranted by Palliser. Palliser will replace or repair at our discretion any furniture deemed defective under said warranty. Product must be returned promptly as directed, prepaid. Repair or replacement costs will not exceed the original purchase price of the product. Field repairs require written authorization from an authorized Palliser representative. This warranty does not cover damages incurred by misuse, accident, abuse or neglect (products deemed misused, mishandled, or altered).Sofa BedsAs standard, Palliser Contract sofa beds feature a Leggett & Platt 2700 Series contract bed mechanism. This contract grade bed unit offers anti-tilt and seat wires. The mattress is a 5.25" contract grade mattress, built on a 3.75" Bonnell coil spring unit. This bed mechanism features a 2 year warranty.Palliser Contract also offers the Leggett & Platt 3500 Classic Square Series mechanism, which features anti-tilt and seat wires. This mechanism comes with a 6" contract grade mattress built on a 4.5" Bonnell coil spring unit. This bed unit features a 3 year warranty. This mechanism is available for an upcharge and it must be clearly indicated on the purchase order. Please refer to price list for upcharge. |
